I've two nieces and three nephews, all over 20 (and perhaps 25 - I lose track, plus some are over 30), but only one has any children. I must be their role-model! :) (I have three brothers, all of who have children - I'm the odd one out.)

we here have a completely different picture: I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters and only 2 of all of us have children. they work hard, though: my eldest brother has 3 sons and Anna has 3 sons and 2 daughters.
(I'd not forgotten this comment! Just very, very lax in the LJ department of late...)
I think they Chinese only went half-way with their one-child policy. What they should have done was allow people to have more than one, but make it so they compensated those who had none. That's a good plan, I think...
I've just had an extremely unpleasant conversation with my logorrheic oldest nephew (and later his demented father who is also my eldest brother butted in). I'm a bit depressed over that and think about a nice castration programme for some kinds of folks. I love my nephew but his daddy and his horrible ex who mutiliated the boy so much would have been the first candidates....
not at all, I feel better jhaving a chance to say nasty things I couldn't in that conversation ;)
it was in my LJ, Victor and I tried to say something to the boy, it was like taking to a badly hurt, yelling, bleeding but still impenetratable imbecile wall. then the father came and that was too much. i just sad them both to take their things and go, disabled comments and left it as such. awful, in fact. the poor boy is a father of three himself already...
