Это храм бога воды. Тут вода стояла видно на какую глубину - проточная. С гор приходила по подземным каналам (ганатам), что было дико круто.

A water divinity temple. What we see is a shallow pool that was always full with running water coming straight from the mountains. There was an intricate system of hidden canals (ganats).

Это под Шуштаром. Юг, почти пустыня, так что речка с плотиной - место паломничества, даже зимой. Нас специально возили, чтобы показать.

Near Shushtar, south of Iran. There is not much of water, so the place (not very interesting for anybody else) is very popular. So they shoot, and shoot, and shoot - as Iranians always do.
